About

Vision

Prelude began with a simple conviction: that the history of a creative work matters as much as its final form. Every draft, note, prompt, and revision carries the author's reasoning — the small decisions that, taken together, become the work.

As AI tools become part of the creative process, Prelude is an archive to preserve this creative work.

The aim is modest. Not a platform, not a marketplace. A library. A place where authorship can be remembered as it evolves, and where, in time, others working on their own archives can find each other.

Principles

Human-first

Centers the author's decisions and revisions.

Minimalist

A creative archival library of files, notes, and references.

Timestamped

Every note is dated for narrative coherence.

File-agnostic

Text, PDFs, images, prompts, commentary.

Private

Content is protected — only you can export it.
